What's your
Teen -Q?
Teenagers from the local
area will be among millions
of others from across
Canada asked to do a self-
examination of their eating
habits by Health and Welfare
Canada.
The Federal health
department is distributing
3.2 million special pamphlets
entitled "What's Your Teen -
Q" by mail across the
country in an effort to make
teenagers aware of the
importance of proper
nutrition.
The pamphlets contain 10
"true or false" questions
concerning nutrition and
eating habits. There are also
answers and explanations so
that teenagers can get a
basic idea of their
knowledge, or lack of it.
According to the depart-
ment, the most critical
period of a lifetime, both
mentally and physically, is
during teenage years. The
mind is constantly being
challenged with new ideas
and the body is growing and
developing at an un-
precedented rate. The body
should be in top physical
shape to cope adequately
with all the changes.
Sound eating habits play a
major part in the physical
well-being of a person --
particularly a teenager.

ortant crossroads on the King's

to be shown in both units in the
yearly table until the metric
system is accepted as the Min-
istry's working system.

of the 1975 highway distance
table at the Ontario Government
