Visitors are being invited to visit the home any time between the hours of two and four o'clock in the afternoon. Queensway highlights Belated birthday greetings to Roy McDonald who celebrated his birthday on June 8. On Tuesday afternoon, the church service was conducted by Rev. Don Beck of Hensall United Church, with Louise Mitchell accompanying on the piano 011a Davis, Willowdale and Edna Anderson, Exeter visited with Minnie Squire. Charlie Fisher, Exeter visited with Louise Mitchell. Rose Pyke visited with Anna Dilling, Mrs. Alvina Mooney visited with William Dauncey. Mr. and Mrs. George Montieth, Toronto, visited with Mrs. Monteith. Keith and Doris Leon- ard, Willowdale visited with Clara Featherston. Mervin and Obituary WILLIAM C. SOLDAN William C. Soldan of Hensall passed away at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, on Tuesday, June 3, 1975. He was in his 81st year. He was the husband of the former Nora Follick, and dear father of William Jr., of Hensall, Mrs. John (Ruth) Hendrick, Mount Forest; Mrs. Robert (Jean) Phillips, Toronto. He was pred- eceased by one son Earl. Also sniviving are two brothers, John, R, R,1, Zurich, Roy, Cent- ralia, two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Case, Hensall, Mrs. Bertha Mason, London and nine grand- children. Funeral service for the late Mr. Soldan was held from the Bonthron Funeral Chapel in Hensall on Friday, June 6, with Rev. Don Beck officiating. Int- erment in Exeter Cemetery. Council also gave approval to the passage of two by-laws which will require swimming pool owners to fence in their pools and will raise trailer licence fees from $10 to $15 per month. In final business, Council named Tom Consitt, of Varna and Don Brodie of Brucefield as its two voting delegates to the meeting of the Association of Municipalities of Ontario. The meeting is set at the Royal York Hotel in Toronto, August 3-6. Accounts for the month were: Stanley general $51, 000 and Stanley roads, $5, 300. PROCLAMATION The council of the Corporation of the Village of Hensall, at a meeting held on Tuesday, June 3, 1975, resolved that June 15 to 21, 1975, shall be observed as "SENIOR CITIZENS WEEK, " in the VILLAGE OF HENSALL. Monday afternoon, the Christ- ian Reformed Women of Exeter entertained by taking some of the residents for an afternoon drive to Bayfield. Police On Sunday at 1 a.m. a car owned by Ronald Bowers, Cred- iton, was struck by an unknown vehicle on Algonquin Drive, Huron Park. Damage was estim- ated at $700 by Constable Jim Rogers. On Tuesday at 12;30 p.m. on Concession 4-5 Usborne Town- ship a truck driven by Gerald Smith; Exeter went out of cont- rol and rolled over. Damage was estimated at $1800 by Constable Al Quinn. On Wednesday at 6,15 a, m. cars driven by Kathryn Hallman, Norwich and Benson Edward, Huron Park, collided on Highway 4 at Junction of Crediton Road. Damage was estimated at $560 by Constable Bill Lewis.
