Richard L. Regier has success-
fully graduated from the two-
year Business Administration -
program at Fanshawe College.
He has accepted a position at
Pumps and Softeners, Ltd., in
London. Richard is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Lee Regier, of
Zurich, and a graduate of South
Huron District High School.
News of Varna
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Whonset-
tier (formerly Grace Reid) of
Fort Wayne, Indiana, visited
relatives and friends in this com-
munity during the holiday week-
end.
Mr. and Mrs, Robert Reid,
Cheryl and Jimmy of Wallace -
burg spent the weekend at their
farm home here.
Mrs. John Ostrom was in Mont-
real for two weeks, staying with
her grandchildren while their
parents, Mr, and Mrs. Neilson
were looking for a home in Win-
nipeg prior to their transfer to
that city.
Mr. Douglas Reid has been a
patient in hospital in Exeter.
Mrs. Florence Elliott and Ross
were in Toronto on Saturday
visiting her son Bruce. His wife
gave birth to a baby girl, Erin
Elizabeth, on Saturday,
Mr. and Mrs. Ted Hoyle of
Stratford were guests of the
Chessells on Sunday afternoon.
With Mr. and Mrs. Carl Kuhl
on Saturday evening were Mr.
and Mrs. Howard Kleinstiver, of
Ethel.
Visiting with Rev. and Mrs.
Alex Taylor from Thursday even-
ing until Sunday were their son
