Mr, Robinson was the son of the late Edward Robinson and Annie Orr. He was born in the family homestead on the Goshen Line, Stanley Township and lived his early life there. After farming at Carlyle, Sask. for about thirty years, he return- ed to the family homestead in 1937. There he resided until his passing at the age of 94 years and four months. Mr. Robinson was a truly active and faithful member of the former Methodist Church and later the United Church, serving as elder, choir memb- er Sunday school superintendent, lay minister and Bible class teacher. He has left a Christian heritage which will ever be cherished by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife Ethel; one daughter and two sons; Mrs. Elmer (Norene) Hayter of the Babylon Line; Bill, of London and John of the Goshen Line; twelve grand- children and ten great grand- children. Also surviving are one sister, Mrs. Margaret Erratt, of Huronview, Clinton, and one brother, Rev. W.O. Robinson, of Goderich. Funeral service was held for Mr. Robinson on Saturday, January 11, in Westlake Funeral Home Zurich. Rev. Alex Tay- lor officiated, Mrs, Bruce Keys presided at the organ, and Mrs. Anson McKinley and Mrs. Berne McKinley sang "Just Lean upon the Arms of Jesus." The six grandsons were pallbearers; Allan, Gerald and Robert Hayt- dy, Richard, Tom and Paul. Robinson. Flowerbearers were Mr. Elgin McKinley, Mr. Frank - McClinchey, Mr. William Clarke and Mr. Bernard Keys. Interment was in Bayfield Cem - etery 0 Kippen news Some of the members of Kippen East Women's Inst- itute held a pot luck dinner and quilting party at the home of Mrs. Vern Alderdice. Mrs. Alex McGregor was in charge of the project. Mr. and Mrs. Orville Work- man are holidaying in Hawaii. Mr. and Mrs. Hanle Binnendyl who have been holidaying in Europe have returned home.
