Dr. G. Knapp, Hensall dent-
ist, has moved his office from
Davis' east store to the rooms
directly above the store where
he is now ready to continue his
practice.
A large crowd attended
Dashwood's skating rink last
Tuesday when the band was in
attendance. The band will
attend every Monday night for
the rest of the season.
W.G. Hess & Sons have inst-
alled radio sets for Joe Meiding-
er and George Hess.
The pull -together community
is always noticeable for its good
results. There is room for
some improvement in our town.
Let's pull together in the new
year.

School opened on Wednesday
and it seemed to be a different
country with the heavy snow-
fall on the ground in contrast
to no snow at all when it clos-
ed for the holiday season.
Area hunters bagged 131 jack
rabbits recently.
We understand that the Harv-
ey Bros. grist mill in Exeter
has been sold to G.A. Cann,
Dunnville.
Miss O. O'Brien was elected
president of the Ladies' Aid
and WMS of the Zurich Evangel-
ical Church. •

ship Memorial -Community
Centre and the A.C. "Babe"
Siebert Memorial Arena in
Zurich. Proceeds of the evening
swelled the building fund by
about $1400.
Dr. P.J. O'Dwyer and his
wife were presented with an
acor-finished maple dining
table, an easy chair and stool
and an office chair prior to
their departure from Zurich.

Stephen Township School
Area board is considering a
new central school for the
township by September of 1965.
The inaugural meeting of
Hensall village council was the
beginning of another year of
decision for four former council
members and one new council-
lor. Council members are Ernie
Davis, chief of police; Earl
Campbell, clerk; Norman Jones,
reeve; Minnie Noakes, Harold
Knight, John Lavender and John
Baker, councillors.
Allen Thiel, son of Mrs.
Alice Thiel, Zurich, has been
posted to Prince George, B.C.
after graduating from the
Royal Canadian Mounted Police
Academy, Calgary, Alberta.
