The Unwanted Tree
One Christmas there were ten
Christmas trees in a row. One
day the first tree got sold, then
the second was sold and then
the third, fourth, fifth, sixth,
seventh and all the way down to
nine. But then there was one
left. He thought he would be the
first tree to sell. "Oh boy,"
he said, "I guess I am unwant-
ed. I'm so sad I don't know if I
can make a good Christmas for
somebody. " Christmas morn-
ing a buyer came for a tree so
he wiped his tears and smiled.
Sure enough, he bought the
last tree out of the ten and he
lived happily.
