readers a very Merry Christmas
and a happy and prosperous new
year. We also wish to thank all
who have been so generous
throughout the year with visits,
programmes, donations to the
craft room and kitchen, which all
goes to make our big family a
happier and more contented one.
No doubt most of us are hoping
that some of our snow will stay
with us but just enough so that we
will have a white Christmas.
Weather permitting, some of our
residents hope to go out to
celebrate Christmas with their
families.
On Wednesday afternoon the
girls of the Explorer group from
Exeter United Church visited
along with some of the Mothers,
Rev. Glen Wright and Rev.
Harold Snell. The girls sang
several Christmas carols during
the Residents' supper hour ac-
companied on the violin by Rev.
Snell and on the saxophone by
Rev. Wright.
The girls provided the desserts
and also served them. Everyone
enjoyed the music, the visits and
all the goodies.
Although the birthday party for
December was postponed until a
later date, residents having
birthdays during December and
receiving gifts, courtesy of the
Ladies Auxiliary were Miss Viola
Cadger, Miss Milverna Geiger,

McLeod, Mrs. Dora Waghorn and

that the first meeting of the New
Year will be held on Tuesday
