Members of the Clinton
Christian Reformed Church
formed a choir at Huronview for
the Sunday evening song service
led by Mr. Dick Roorda.
Miss Eunice Lamb was
welcomed to the Home at the
Monday afternoon program. The
Goderich Township Womens
Institute volunteers assisted with
the activities. Mrs. Driver,; Molly
Cox, Norman Speir, Cecil Skinner

John Stevley, a member of the
Clinton Legion Pipe Band showed
a film on family night of the
tournament of roses parade at
Pasadena California. The one
part of the film told the story of
the parade from its inception and
was brought to this area by the
Mass Pipe Bands of South
Western Ontario. The tour-
nament is of 'special interest to
the residents of this area this
year as the mass bands plan to
take part in the parade on
January 2, 1978.
The annual bazaar sponsored

Delivery of the directory was
scheduled to start about October
24 and finish by November 9, Jim
Scott, local Bell Canada
manager, said today.
Some 219,195 directories will be
distributed this year - an increase
of nearly 11,000 from last year's
total.
Bell is adhering to its policy
instituted a few years ago of
delivering only one directory per
household.
"In 1977 we'll save about 29,000
books with this policy," Mr. Scott
said. "It cuts down on costs, helps
conserve natural resources such
as pulpwood and reduces paper
pollution when it comes to
discarding old directories."
When deliveries are completed
anyone who might have been
missed can get a directory by
phoning his local Bell Canada
business office after November 9.
Mr. Scott said subscribers
should consult the wealth of in-
formation in the introductory
pages. These include emergency
numbers for police, fire depart-
ment and ambulance, long
distance area codes, discount
times for long distance calls and
Bell Canada numbers for repair,
directory assistance and business
office.
For further information please
call Jim Scott at 519-271-2704.
