1. SELECT only fresh meats of highest quality. The conditions of the meat
before freezing largely determines its quality when served.
2. PREPARE meats quickly and carefully for the freezer.
3. PACKAGE In odorless, tasteless, moisture -vapor resistant freezer wrap
or containers to prevent meat from drying out and protect it from absorbing
flavors.
4, FREEZE at zero degrees Fahrenheit as soon as possible after packag-
ing.
5. STORE frozen meats at MO degrees Fahrenheit or lower with as little
variation In temperature as possible.
6, THAW frozen meats properly and use as soon as possible
after thawing,
7. COOK frozen meats carefully.ln the same way as fresh.
