Admission for the dinner and dance will be $15.00 per person, with $10.00 of the price being tax deductible as a charitable donation. • Charlie Farquharson, noted author and agriculturalist, has published three books and is renowned for his unique views on "histry," "jog -free," the arts, and politics. Mr. Farquharson will deliver an after dinner ad- dress and will add to the evening's festivities with his attendance at the barn dance. The event will be held at the Seaforth Community Centre on Saturday, June 11, with the pork barbecue complete with all the trimmins' beginning at 7.30 p.m., followed by a hoe-down lasting until 1.00 a.m. Music, provided for the occasion by Chris Black and the Swinging Brass, will feature a country and pop flavour with some old time fiddling and square dancing. One of the highlights of this evening will be three dream auctions, each offering a once-in- a-lifetime opportunity to dance with Charlie Farquharson. The public is asked to dress for the occasion — rubber boots, overalls, jeans, straw hats are encouraged, but not mandatory. Tickets are available from: Goderich, Campbell's of Goderich and Black's Grocery; Seaforth, The Huron Expositor; Listowel, Basically Books; Kincardine, Lampman's Ltd: Walkerton, Margaret's Ladies Wear; Clinton; Mary's Sewing Centre; Wingham, The Waxwork Boutique; Bayfield, The Little Inn; Lucknow, H & B Discount; Stratford, Smith & Wagners, 97 Ontario Street.
