Adolph Keller has returned home from Victoria hospital where he underwent surgery. Mrs. Keller had spent the time in London with her daughter and family, Mr. & Mrs. Fred Sanders. Pastor and Mrs. Bruce Guy spent a few days with Mr. Guy's 85 year old mother, Mrs. Lela. Guy, Windsor, last week, Rev. Guy attended "Think Tank" meetings at Chatham on Christian Initiation concerning such topics as baptism, con- firmation, church membership and growth of the Holy Spirit. These sessions were attended by ministers and laymen from all over the London Conference area. Of interest to Dashwood people, he spoke to Helen James wife of Rev. Merrill James, Windsor, former pastor of Calvary United Church. She told him their son John will be ordained this year and Orville is also training for the ministry, Both boys attend Queen's University at Kingston. M. Mellecke. Mrs, Cora Gaiser has returned home after spending several weeks with Mr, & Mrs. Ray Kretzman and boys, Florida. Mr. & Mrs. Jim Poland, Camp- beilford, flew down for a week and she accompanied them back and spent a week with them. Bridal Shower Mrs. Don Gaiser, Mrs. Jack Gaiser and Mrs. Bruce Seebach, Kitchener were hostesses at a miscellaneous shower for their niece, Lois Poland, Camp- bellford, bride -elect of April at the home of Mrs. Don Gaiser Sunday, March 27, for relatives and friends. Lois was recipient of many lovely gifts for which she thanked all. The hostesses served lunch, Seniors hold March meeting Thirty-three Senior Citizens attended the March 21 meeting in the Community Centre. The president, J. M. Tieman presided for the business. Zone 8 of the Senior Citizens will hold a rally in Dashwood April 14. The following were appointed to look after arrangements. Charles Martene, Florence Martene, Jessie Rader, Nola Love, Mrs. E. R. Guenther and Martha Weigand. Franz Boogemans played several selections on his cornet and showed movies of a bus trip to California. Cards were played and lunch served by group 2 with Charles Martene convener in the absence of Gertie McCrae.
