profitable bingo was held
Saturday evening at the
Zurich arena sponsored by
the St. Boniface C.W.L. for
the parish, all the proceeds
of this fifth annual event
went to Brother Bob Mit-
tleholtz in India. The jack pot
prize "A Pig" donated by
Mr. & Mrs. Case Van Raay
or the equilivant in money,
was won by Mrs. Anna -
Marie Watson.
Attend encounter session
Eight couples from Zurich
and area made a Marriage
Encounter week -end at
Grand Bend. The first one
for all of Huron County was
held at the Village -Inn
Retreat and Recreational
Centre. Three couples will be
making the week end this
Friday at the Holiday Inn,
City Centre, London.

A family dinner was held
Sunday at the home of Marie
and Jerome Denomme in
honor of Jerome's birthday.

HUNTING SUCCESS — Local hunting enthusiast Bob Merner
of Zurich returned from a hunting expedition north of Parry
Sound recently and came back with a 250 pound black bear.
Merner was among a group of nine hunters who made the
