Julie Rau and Doug Debus exchanged marriage vows
September 9, 1978 at St. Peter's Church in St. Joseph. Father
J, Bensette. officiated. The matron of honor was Janet Brown
and bridesmaids were Charlene Finkbeiner, Joyce Hoggarth,
Janine Rau and Deborah Bedard. The best man was Gary
Ducharme and guests were ushered by Louis Debus, Leo
Debus, Gerry Neilands and Darryl Rau. The bride is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Rau and Mr. and Mrs.
Leonard Debus are parents of the groom. After a honeymoon
to northern Ontario the couple has taken up residence in

MR. AND MRS. DAVID OESCH
Richmond Hill United Church was the setting for the October
14 wedding of Linda Ann Glenn and Vernon David Carl
Oesch. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald
Glenn, Richmond Hill and the groom is the son of Mrs. Madge
Oesch, Goderich and late Vernon Wesley Oesch. Rev. Dr.
McNair officiated. The maid of honour was Berni Devlin and
flower girl was Jujie Glenn. The best man was Douglas Carl
Oesch and the ushers were Frank and John Glenn. The couple
has taken up residence in Seaforth. Both are employed at the
Tasty Nu Bread and Doughnut Shop in Seaforth.

that a patient receive
homemaker services rather
than have that patient placed
in an institution. She said at
present the doctors'
recommendation may mean
the service would be paid for
by government and that
type of possibility had to be
removed before government
would sanction the service.
