rock hunting trip to west
Ken and Dorothy Breakey
have recently returned from
a three month tour of
Western Canada. Their trip
took them to Dawson City in
the Yukon. Fairbanks, Mt:
Zurich
Carmel Sweeney
McKinley, Anchorage
Alaska, Central and British
Columbia.
In the Alberta Bad lands
they hunted dinosaur bones
and pursued their hobby of
rock collecting.- They spent
some time with their son,
Richard and his wife in
Edmonton, returning by way
of Winnipeg and Brandon
where they visited Ken's
boyhood friends and
relatives
Newly weds

were married at St. Boniface
Church. And Mr. & Mrs.
Douglas Debus (nee Julie
Rau) who were married at
St. Peters Catholic Church.

took part in the ball tour-
nament on the London Caps
team.

Mrs. Pat Oesch and other
relatives in the area.
Mrs. Cecila Farwell,
president of the ladies
auxiliary to the Blue Water
Rest Home is attending as a
delegate a three day con-
vention at the Holiday Inn in
London.
Mrs. Ida Jantzi of Baden
has spent the past month
with her daughter and son-
in-law, Mr. & Mrs. Gordon
Erb.
Mrs. Eileen Consitt has
completed her yearly job of
taking the municipal
enumeration in the village.
Mr. & Mrs. John
Denomme R.R. 2 Zurich held
a family gathering last week
end, those attending were
from Montreal, Windsor and
Zurich area. They were
treated to barbecued roast
suckling.
Maura, daughter of Mr. &
Mrs. Allan Gascho has
returned to school at York
University in Toronto, She
spent the summer with her
parents. Also visiting the
Gascho's for a week were
Captain Brian and Carol
Belchamber and son Eric of
Ottawa.
