"Peace" was the topic for
the April meeting of the
Lutheran Church Women.

the topic "Peace". Several
scriptures relating to Peace
were read by the members
There were twenty-five
members and the pastor
present. Mrs. John
Turkheim presided for the
business meeting. Mrs.
Harold Deichert, vice-
president gave a final report
on the note paper the
Lutheran Church Women
were having printed to
commemorate the 100th
Anniversary of the present
Church building.
Members were urged to
attend the Biennial Con-

Meeting eight of the Fit
Frauleins was held on
Saturday at Zurich Public
School. The topic of this
meeting was Physical Fit-
ness. Robert Redick,
teacher at the school, in-
structed us on Rhythmics.
We all took part in this series
of modern exercising and
enjoyed it.
Mr. Redick was presented
with a gift, and the meeting
adjourned. The next meeting
was on Wednesday.
