Fitness Institute.
Rhythmics was created to
solve ther

effective program you can
stay with. Rhythmics was
put together with original
music and lyrics written and
arranged to combine the
physical- and mental benefits
with the motivational effect
of music. Rhythmics con-

groups and 'improves heart -
circulatory and respiratory
systems. Rhythmics can be
done alone or in a group.
The more regularly you
work at Rhythmics the more
benefit you will receive and
the more you will enjoy the
activity. Rhythmics takes
the drudgery out of getting
fit.
On Tuesday the students
of the Zurich Public School
started this fitness program
at 2:25 p.m. Exercises such
as the "baby rock" and the
"pretzel" were done to the
song "Stop It Draggin"'
written by a group called
"Olympus". Students lined
the halls for a work -filled six
minutes while the music
was piped throughout the
school. After . the vigorous
exercise, everyone felt the
routine was fun and it made
them feel good.
Will compile
housing list
Bill 59 - The Family Law
Reform Act was discussed at
a meeting of ALPHA Huron.
Section 16 of the bill deals
with the obligation of parents
to provide education &
support for their han-
dicapped children.
Members are concerned
lest the passing of this bill
should cut off the allowances
now being provided by the
Ontario Social Services
Ministry to the disabled and
unemployable.
ALPHA Huron plans the
compilation of a list of the
housing in Huron County
with facilities for the han-
dicapped. Your help in this
will be appreciated.
ALPHA met in the
Brussels Arena on Tuesday,
March 28th. Everyone is
invited to the ALPHA
meetings.
Combine's season ends
The hockey season for the
Hensall Combines ended
Friday night as the Parkhill
Merchants defeated the
local squad 7-4 in a game
played in Zurich. The
Merchants took the best of
five South Hhron Hockey
League semi-final three
games to one. On Tuesday
the Merchants defeated
Hensall 6-4.
In Friday's game Parkhill
outscored the Combines 4-1
in the first and maintained
their three goal lead
throughout the game.
Hensall scored the first
goal of the game as Dwight
Consitt took passes from
Fred Campbell and Steve
Knight and put one past the
Parkhill netminder.
Following the four
successive goals " by
Parkhill, Fred Campbell
scored at the 5:02 mark of
the second to edge the Com-
bines closer. Steve Knight
assisted.
That goal was offset by
two Merchant tallies
midway through the second.
In the third period, the
Combines staged somewhat
of a comeback as Steve
Knight and Terry Caldwell
scored. Assisting on the
goals were Brian and Fred
Campbell and Gary Koehler.
The Merchants then
scored the final goal of the
game.
Tuesday's game played in
Parkhill, was a seesaw bat-
tle with the lead changing
hands four times.
Fred Campbell started the
scoring off at the 9:26 mark
of the first stanza with help
from Steve Knight.
The Merchants scored the
other two goals of the period
but the Combines came back
in the second with goals by
Caldwell and Rick Ingram.
Assisting on the goals were
Steve Knight, Don Taylor,
Brian Campbell and Bill
Chipchase.
With only 24 seconds left
in the period, the Merchants
tied the game up as they
beat John Gould in net for
Hensall.
Parkhill picked- up the
d -
first goal of the third period
but Wayne Corbett scored
for Hensall. Fred Campbell
and Caldwell assisted.
Following, Hensall's tieing
goal, Parkhill scored once
again, to regain the lead.
Another Merchant counter
five minutes later put the
game out of reach.
Hensall manager Don
Reid termed the season "a
success" as the Combines
won only two games all last
season.
