Meditation
Have you longed for sweet
peace, and for faith to in-
crease, and earnestly prayed?
You cannot have rest or be
perfectly blest, until all on the
altar is laid. Then blessing un-
told will unfold from above
when your hearts' under the
spirits control.

Meditation
There is a time we know not
when, a place we know not
where,
That marks the destiny of men
for glory or despair.
There is a line by us unseen
that crossed every path,
That marks the boundary
between God's patience and His
wrath,
Oh where is this mystery born
by which our path is crossed,
Beyond which God himself
has sworn that he who goes is
lost.
How long may we go on in sin,
how long will God forebear?
Where does hope end and
where begins the confines of
despair?
An answer from the skies is
sent,
Ye who from God depart,
While it is called today repent
and harden not your heart.
