Obituary Frost seerns to have nipped plants in the surrounding areas, but our flowers here seem none the worse for the the weather and are still blooming in prof- usion. Monday evening films were shown which consisted of "Wings to Italy" and "Busy Bodies" featuring Laurel and Hardie, which was very much enjoyed. We are still interested in anyone who could help us out with film transportation. We are grateful to Mr. and Mrs. George Haggitt for their assist- ance all last year and the ass- istance they have offered this season whenever it is possible. As I have mentioned in prev- ious years, movies are open to anyone who would enjoy spend- ing Monday evening with the residents and sharing a cup of coffee, following the program. The quilt in the craft room has now been completed, thanks to the assistance of the visiting quitters and our own residents who have worked so hard. The Ladies Auxiliary of the Home held their regular month- ly meeting on Wednesday even- ing. Prior to the business part of the meeting the Bardley family of Clinton entertained the residents. Mr. Bradley accompanied his six children on de accordian as they sang several numbers. This is the first time the residents have had the opportunity to hear the Bradley family and they enjoy- ed it very much. sonnumusimonanassemmesm Emmanuel United Church BRUCE GUY, B.A. SUPPLY MINISTER Mrs. Milton Oesch, Organist SUNDAY, OCTOBER 13 10 a.m. - Sun Church School 11 a.in. - Worship Service Everyone Welcome unimmimmummomme Zurich Mennonite CLAYTON KUEPFER, PASTOR SUNDAY, OCTOBER 13 9:45 a.m.-Worship Service 10;45 a.m.-Sun Church School 8:00 p.m.- Rev Elliott & The Reflections singing group in charge. Our Achievement Day will be at the Zurich Public School on January 4. We were taught how to ent- ertain a houseguest, with invitations and packing a suit- case. We also, learned how to introduce people to each other. We were shown how to pack the suitcase by putting shoes and other heavy items in the bottom and other clothes folded inside each other on top. It was easy and neat. We all had to write out thank -you notes to an invitation from a friend and they are to go in our record books. We all practiced introductions and parting remarks as we adjourned the meeting. St. Peter's Lutheran Church A.C. BLACKWELL, B.A., B.D.
