On Wednesday afternoon, some of the residents tool< advantage of the nice weather and enjoyed a bus ride along the lake, through Grand Bend and around the Crediton area where some of the joy riders were anxious to look around at former residences and familiar surroundings. We wish to thank the ladies who responded to our invitation for quilters. Although the quilt at this time is not quite finished probably by the end of the week it will be pretty well wound up. Our appreciation is extended to Mr. Roy Erb, Mrs. Alvin Steckle, Mrs, Margaret Clarke, Mrs. Gladys Gingerich and Mrs. Don Gingerich for the delicious fresh vegetables they have brought in, also to Mrs. Keith Horner for the beautiful bouq- uet of roses picked from her garden. We sincerely thank NIr. and Mrs. Ferguson of the Ferguson Apiaries for their gen- erous donation of fresh honey which the residents will be enjoying for some time.
