Do your driving during off - hours when you can. You'll save on gas gulping, stop and start driving. An extra gasoline tank install- ed in your car can turn it into a "mobile firebomb" according to Leonard M. Ring, president of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. His professional opinion: DON'T. Many American made cars have metric components. Foreign -made cars, of course, have had them all along. The first known woman driver in the US was Genevra Delphine Mudge, who drove an electric -powered car in New York in 1898. She, at least, must have been spared those "woman -driver" jokes.
