Monday was an ideal day for driving and t he residents enj- oyed a tour of the countryside as far as Stratford and around the scenic areas of the city. We regret that Henry Flaxbard Mrs, Mary Taylor and Mrs. Gertrude Harris are confined to South Huron Hospital, Exeter. Residents enjoying outings with their families during the week were Mrs, Alice Traquair, Mrs. Rebecca Clarke, Miss Susanna Hartman, Mrs, Susan Snider, Mrs, Fern Bowman, Mrs. Hannah Talbot and And- rew Dougall. On Thursday afternoon some of the residents enjoyed an out- ing around the area of Goderich, Holmesville and back home. One of bur problems is to see that each of the residents have equal opportunity to get out on the bus. On Thursday evening, bingo was enjoyed followed by ref- reshments.. We welcome Mrs. Ivy Wedd of the Port Franks area as a resident. At Friday noon, all of the residents who were able, were invited to attend a dinner at the Bayview Inn, guests of the proprietors, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Horner. A delicious meal was served to the 18 guests present followed by entertainment featuring a well known singer, Ray Buchanan and his musicians, who specialize in programs for senior citizens. All of the res- idents present were very pleased to have been able to enjoy this outing and we are indeed indebt- ed to Mr, and Mrs. Horner for their generosity. J.C, Britton, of Hensall„ Mrs. Lenora Turkheim presided at the organ during the service. 12 OZ TIN Kam Luncheon Meat 10 OZ TIN Old Colony Soft Drink Sliced Mushrooms Kidney Beans Oranges LUC ; ' t LL 10 OZ 14 OZ TIN 75C 6/69 33C TIN DOZ FOOD M PHONE 236-4316 - ZURICH 694 ET Awards On June 26, the graduates of grade eight at Ecole Ste.
