The Medical Officer of Health has been contacted by Brian Garrett of Kyles, Kyles and Garratt, Stratford, requesting permission to re -activate the tile bed for test purposes and hopefully for re -operation on a more permanent basis but to date no approval given. The test hole will have a vertical tile installed to house an alarm system to warn of trouble. At the present time the septic tank is being pumped out regularly.
