Teacher changes in Huron schools

half a dozen teachers are yet to
be hired, mainly elementary,

Registration for the summer
Recreation Program in Hensall
will be held on July 2, at 2
p.m. in the Picnic Pavilion at
the Hensall Community Park.
Children from kindergarten to
grade eight are welcome to
attend.
The hours for the program
will be from two to four on
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thurs-
day, ending on July 19.
Swimming registration will
be held at rhe Arena on Satur-
day morning, June 22, from
nin o'clock until one. Bus
fees for the swimming course
will be $3. 00 and swimming
instructions will be $5.00 per
child.

reported there were 54 entries
in the art contest among stud-
ents sponsored by the Board for
a design for an "official Board
Crest" as requested by the
Seaforth District High School
for their band jackets. After
viewing the crests the board
voted to continue using the crest
that the board has been using
since 1969.
Winners of prizes for crest
design are: First ($20) Elizabeth
Deichert, 16 years, South Huron
High School; second ($15)
Chris Beaton, 13 years, J.A.D.
McCurdy Public; third ($10)
