Bayfield council solves problems
George Brown approached
Bayfield council at their regul-
ar meeting Monday evening
and asked for permission on
behalf of the Senior Citizens
to install a shuffleboard on
the town property at the north-
west side of the Municipal
Building adjacent to the side-
walk. Council approved.
Mr. and Mrs. W. Heard also
approached council with regard
to logs stored on adjacent prop-
erty which are contravening a
by-law. Council will speak to
the owner regarding his intent-
ions and try to have the situat-
ion rectified as sonn as possible.
Reg Agar asked council about
an anti -noise by-law and dogs
running loose, tearing garbage
bags apart. He was informed
that all dogs are to be confined,
Mrs. LeRoy Poth, Mrs. Gwen
Pemberton and Mrs. J.R. Will-
ock also approached council
with a motion passed at the
Historical Society meeting
that some consideration be giver
to try to maintain the appear-
ance of the old buildings in

had been given.
In other business council sup-
ported a resolution from the
Township of Pittsburg to increase
the penalty to two percent per
month on past due taxes; and
received the lease for the South
Dock for permission to use it,
except that part used by Mr.
