The groom is the son of Mr. Ray McKinnon and the bride's parents are Mr. and firs. Leo Meidinger, all of Zurich. Rev. A. Durand officiated for the double -ring ceremony. Given in marriage by her father the bride was stunning in her formal gown designed by Alfred Angelo., Her gown of pure silk fabric was trimmed with chantilly lace and the entire slender lines swept into a full train outlined with a chiffon pleated ruffle, The front of the gown had an apron effect and rhe bodice was styled with full sleeves with long tight cuffs, a high neckline and highlighted with chantilly lace. She carried a bouquet of pink roses, baby's breath and pink streamers. Mrs. Brenda Schilbe was matron of honour and Marilyn Meidinger, sister of the bride, Nancy Rae McKinnon, sister of the groom, June Falconer and Susan Bedour were bridesmaids. The matron of honour and bridesmaids chose a delicate design of silk organza over ind- ividual pastel colours of pink, blue and yellow. The treatment of the gowns had a white ruffled edge on rite hemline as did the long full sleeves and the white bib of the gown. White picture hats completed their costumes and they carried nosegays of shasta daisies, carnations and baby's breath. Mary -Jo Meidinger and Celine Plourde were flower girls and they were dressed in pink floor length gowns styled the same as the bridesmaids. Groomsman was Ron Corriv- eau, and Shane 'McKinnon and Doug Meidinger ushered guests. Richard Schilbe and Gary Kyle also attended the groom. Ed- ward Meidinger and Derel< McKinnon were ringbearers. Soloist, Maureen McK innon was accompanied by organist, Mrs. 'Matilda Rau, The wedding reception was held in the Zurich Community Centre. For receiving guests the bride's mother chose a two- piece green crepe ensemble with gold accessories and a cor- sage of yellow roses, Before leaving on a one-week honeymoon to Mt. Pocono, Pennsylvania, the bride chang- ed into a floor length yellow crimp dress, with. white acces- sories and a corsage of light green orchids. The couple will reside in Zurich, where the bride is employed with the Bank of Montreal, in Zurich, and the groom with Bendix in Hensall. Prior to her marriage the bride was honoured with several showers, at the home of Mrs. Brenda Schilbe, assisted by Miss June Falconer, at the Catholic School auditorium with hostesses, Marilyn Meid- inger, Susan Bedour and Nancy Rae McKinnon; and at the home of Ivirs.
