CONSITT - CAMPBELL
Donna Joyce Campbell,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Lloyd Campbell, R.R, 1, Exeter,
exchanged wedding vows with
Larry John Consitt, son of
Mr. and Mrs. John Consitt,
Hensall, at Carmel Presbyter-
ian Church, April 27, with the
Rev. Wilfred Jarvis officiating.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride wore a gown of
nylon organza, featuring a
round neck collar with a lace
yolk, short puffed sleeves.
A full skirt of nylon and lace
ruffles, fell gracefully from
the Victorian waistline accent-
ed by a satin bow on the back.
A cathedral length veil was
attached to her hair by a princ-
ess marina tiara. Her bouquet
was a cascade of yellow roses,
white stephanotis, and ivy.
A friend of the bride, Nancy
Stretton, was matron of honor,
wearing a mint green nylon
tricot floor length gown.
Bridemaids Debbie Campbell,
cousin of the bride, and Anne
Knight, a friend, were dressed
identical to the matron of
honor. All carried parosols of
yellow daisies, white carnations
and baby's breath.
Best man was Bill Munn,
friend of the groom, and ushers
were Bill Consitt, brother of
the groom, and Wayne Campb-
ell, twin brother of the bride,
Music was played by Mrs. M.
Dougall, who also accompan-
ied the soloist, Mr, Kenneth
Johns.
A social hour followed the
wedding and Mr. Harold Knight
was master of ceremonies at
the dinner held in the church
parlor. An evening reception
was held at the Hensall Arena
with music by the Country
Ramblers.

Here are two first aid tips
from the Canadian National
Institute for the Blind. If you
get a speck in your eye, lift.
the upper lid over the lower one
to cause tears. This should
wash away any particles. If it
doesn't, consult your doctor.
For a bruised or black eye
apply cold compresses for 15
minutes. Consult your doctor.
There might be internal injury.

the May meeting of Unit I of
Hensall UCW. She read the
poem "Family Beatitudes,"
which was followed by ahymn.
Her devotional thoughts "Love
in the Ilome' illustrated ways
of understanding our youth of

"The strongest tie in the
home is sincere love and under-

Christian living everyday in
our homes and with out neigh-

were read, and roll call was
answered by seventeen members

icated by Audrey Christie.
Anita Cook read an interesting
chapter from the study book
"what mission means today, "
with all of the group taking
part. She then read some high-
lights from "The truth about
mission today" an article in the
last Observer written by Garth
Legge, now secretary of United
Church's division of World Out-
reach, who wasn't just giving
thoughts of a man that visited
Zambia, but of one who has
spent several years as a mission-
ary, so understands the condit-
ions in this third world.
A few plans for the Beef Bar-
beque were discussed and mem-
bers were given tickets to sell,
Audrey thanked all who helped
with the meeting, including the
hostesses, Helen Goddard and
Dorothy Elder, who served a
tasty lunch.
The meeting closed by every-
one repeating in unison hymn
364 from the Hymnary. Lois
Shapter then conducted a very
interesting contest.
