A number of members of the
local Orange Lodge attended
the Grand Lodge of Ontario
West conventionheld in Vnox
Presbyterian Church, Goderich,
last week.
The convention opened with
a well -attended Church service
in Victoria United Church on
Tuesday night. The sessions
of the Black Chapters were
held on Wednesday and Thurs-
day.
The Huliett District Scarlet
Degree team had the honour of
putting on the degree before a
large number of delegates on
Thursday evening.. The Orange
Sessions were then held on
Friday and Saturday, with a
banquet on Friday evening in
Northside United Church with
over 200 present.
There will be a plant sale
at the meeting of the UCW
in the basement of the Church
Thursday evening.
