Golden Glimpses ....
It's Easter Time again, and
on behalf of the residents and
staff, I would like to wish each
and everyone of our readers a
very Happy Easter.
On Monday evening films
were enjoyed and with the
lengthening of the daylight
hours, film night will soon have
to be discontinued for the spring
and summer months.
The sympathy of residents
and staff is extended to the
family of the late Mr. Foy
Desjardine.
On Wednesday evening, the
Ladies Auxiliary held their reg-
ular monthly meeting. Prior to
the business part of the meeting,
a variety of slides were shown
of scenery in Florida, Chesley
Lake and events which have
taken place from time to time
at the Rest Home. We wish to
thank Mr. Amos Gingerich for
spending the time for the enjoy-
ment of the residents, also Mrs.
Rose Russell who favoured with
an Easter poem. Following the
program, refreshments were
served.
The Ladies Auxiliary wish to
extend their appreciation to all
ladies, both members and non-
members of the Auxiliary who
carne out to help with the quilt.
There will be a draw made for
this quilt at the Bean Festival
St. Peter'i
Lutheran Church.

The amendments, effective
immediately, were considered
and agreed to by the major

agricultural groups concerned.
