Zimmer, Zurich, exchanged wedding vows with Raymond Carlile Weido, son of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Weido, Zurich, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, on March 23, with the Rev. Andrew Blackwell officiating. Given in marriage by her father the bride wore a gown of white silk organza featuring a Venice lace square necklined bodice with full shepherdess sleeves cuffed by the Venice lace. A billowing gathered skirt of organza fell gracefully from rhe Victorian waist line accented by a satin ribbon. A trailing cathedral veil was at- tached to her hair by a princess marina tiarra, and Heir -loom gift of her mothers, which she wore thirty-five years ago on her nuptial day. Sweet -heart roses were interspersed with baby's breath and cinched together with white satin ribbon. A close friend of the bride's, Paula Siebert, was maid of honour wearing a red and white dotted swiss A-line gown. Vict- orian waistline was accented with a red satin ribbon and rose, and a frilled V-neck and cuffs. Bridesmaids, Catherine Weido and Evelyn Huston were dressed identical to the maid of honour wearing white picture hats, and all carrying bouquets of red and white carnations. The music was played by Mrs, Jack Turkheim, who also accompanied the soloist Elaine Westlake. 0 Achievement Day The Horne Economics Branch of the Ontario Ministry of Ag- riculture and Food is again hold- ing 4-11 Homemaking Club Achievement Days in Huron County, The 1, 100 girls who are part- icipating in the current project, "Taking a Look at Yourself, " have been studying tips on good grooming, storage of clothes, skin and hair care, and posture. Eacli girl has been working on a special good grooming or storage aid or project pertaining to the unit.
