Local couple exchange vows
WEIDO -- ZIMMER
Annette Zimmer, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Earle W.
Zimmer, Zurich, exchanged
wedding vows with Raymond
Carlile Weido, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Glenn Weido, Zurich, at
St. Peter's Lutheran Church,
on March 23, with the Rev.
Andrew Blackwell officiating.
Given in marriage by her
father the bride wore a gown
of white silk organza featuring
a Venice lace square necklined
bodice with full shepherdess
sleeves cuffed by the Venice
lace. A billowing gathered
skirt of organza fell gracefully
from rhe Victorian waist line
accented by a satin ribbon. A
trailing cathedral veil was at-
tached to her hair by a princess
marina tiarra, and Heir -loom
gift of her mothers, which she
wore thirty-five years ago on
her nuptial day. Sweet -heart
roses were interspersed with
baby's breath and cinched
together with white satin ribbon.
A close friend of the bride's,
Paula Siebert, was maid of
honour wearing a red and white
dotted swiss A-line gown. Vict-
orian waistline was accented
with a red satin ribbon and rose,
and a frilled V-neck and cuffs.
Bridesmaids, Catherine Weido
and Evelyn Huston were dressed
identical to the maid of honour
wearing white picture hats, and
all carrying bouquets of red and
white carnations. Flower girl,
