Mildred Kyle presided for the
March meetingof Unit 1 on
Thursday afternoon at the chord•
Accompanied by Belva Fuss on
the ping the meeting opened
with a hymn, after which Mrs,
Kyle read a scripture from Luke.
For her thoughtful devotional
she gave many true facts; how
each of us must find ourselves
in order to be successful in life.
In beingignorant of our resource
we may make little of our opp-
ortunities. Most of us spend too
much time worrying which cause
fear. In this life, we all get
what we ask for.
The Lord's Prayer was repeat-

Mrs. Kyle conducted the

business which consisted of; an
all daymeetingon March 27
in Seaforth church on the subject
of drug and alcohol problems.
Dr. David Mack, representative
from the London Conference will
be there. It is hoped interested
people will try to attend.
Julene Keys gave an interest-
ing past of the study on "Meth-
ods of Mission." Members disc-
ussed "Why are we involved."
"What mission means today, "
and "Wow we are in Mission."
Women
"Where did we (the church) go
wrong?"It was discovered that
the early Christians of the East
think of our Christianity as the
religion of the rich and power-
fill nations. The Rev. Marino
of the United Church of Christ
in Japan, who spent a year in
Canada and the United States
tells that Camilo Torres, a
Colombian priest of the wealthy
and distinguished familygave
up his professional duties f the
Catholic Church to become
more truly a priest and in 1965,hymn
joined the Guerrilla Army of
National Liberation as a com-
mon soldier and was killed
and buried the following Februaryin actiond
anbunmarked gray
where even his mother did not
know.
Eileen McLean read "Mission
begins at home, " which told of
g
an old conventional Anglican
Church in downtown Toronto ,
now called "The Church of the
Holy Trinity, " which serves all
people who come regardless
of denomination or social
background, very informal
service and dress usually ending
with a meal together. They
have a variety of week day
programs. Holy Trinity is a
visible reminder of God's love
