For her thoughtful devotional she gave many true facts; how each of us must find ourselves in order to be successful in life. Dr. David Mack, representative from the London Conference will be there. It is hoped interested people will try to attend. Julene Keys gave an interest- ing past of the study on "Meth- ods of Mission." Members disc- ussed "Why are we involved." "What mission means today, " and "Wow we are in Mission." UNITEE CHURCH WOMEN The March meeting of the Kippen United Church Women was held March 13 at the home of Mrs. Hank Binnendyk with 12 members present. The worship service was in charge of Mrs. Robert Kinsman, the theme being "Gentleness. " The worship opened with a and scripture reading, Mrs. David Turner, president, opened the business portion with P prayer. Roll call was answered the word Obffer ngswas e haken by the host - ess Mrs. Wilfred Mellis and Mrs, Hank Binnendyk and dedicated by Mrs. Turner. The Rose report Y- was given byMrs. Lairs Finlay - son. Sunshine report by Mrs. Norman Dickert. Visiting report by Mrs. W.L. Mellis. Treasur- er's report by Mrs. Harold Jones in Mrs. Bert Faber's absence. Mrs. Keith Lovell prepared the topic, which was taken by Mrs. David Turner. The topic was "I will assume Responsib- ility, " Several Bible verses were used as a basis. The par- able found in Matthew Chapter 25 verses 14-30 and Luke Chapter 19, verses 11-'L7, teaches lessons on talents and how to live as a Christian Ste - ward, It was decided to give $10 g to Clinton Hospital Auxiliary, not to have a strawberry supper this year, price of meal cater - ing is to remain at $3.00 . Kippen UCW will entertain April 17 and Mrs. Malcolm Davidson will be the speaker. Courtesy remarks were given by Mrs. Bill Consitt WOMEN' 5 INSTITUTE Kippen East Women's Instit- pP ute entertained the residents of Blue Water Rest Home on the occasion of the monthly Y ConscieBirthdan ce, " square Party. A ldancing,t s community singing, and piano selections byMrs. Ross Broad - foot hi -lighted the program. Those with birthdays in March were resented with a gift, P g + Mrs. Robert Kinsman and Mrs. Ross Broadfoot were in charge of the program and the ladies served a delicious lunch. Mr. and Mrs. Elzar Mousseau I have returned to their own horn( in Kippen. Miss Heather McLean, who has been a patient in Univer- sity Hospital London has return - ed home. for people in the midst of a shiny new downtown mall. Mrs. Keys also read Lee Holland's method of teaching the Zambia people farming. The meeting closed with the benediction followed by a cont- est and lunch served by hostess Audrey Joynt assisted by Audrey Christie.
