February is calssified as the
month of friendship, and they
say the best way to have a
friend is for you to be one.
Perhaps a valentine would be
appreciated by some lonely
person you may know of.
Monday evening films were
shown. We have been receiv-
ing an interesting series of films
but the delivery date for their
return has been changed, so we
are having a bit of a problem
getting them returned to Goder-
ich at the specified time. The
films are shown Monday even -

On Wednesday at 9.30 p.m.
snow vehicles operated by How-
ard Schenk, R.R.1, Crediton,
and Barry Campbell, R,R,2,
Ailsa Craig, collided on the
Crediton Road east of Crediton.
Damage was estimated at
$1, 000. by Constable Dale
Lamont.
Also on Wednesday, at 3 p.m
trucks driven by Harold Parsons
R.R.2, Kippen, and Benjamin
O'Tollola. London, collided
on Mill Street, in Hensall.
Total damage was estimated at
$700 by Constable Bob White-
ford.
Area motorists are again
reminded to purchase their 1974
licence plates before February
28, 1974, The validation stick-
er must be applied to the rear
licence plate as soon as it is
obtained. There will be no ext-
ension of time to obtain the
1974 licences.

On Tuesday evening the reg-
ular monthly birthday party
was sponsored by the Zurich
Women's Institute. A variety
program was presented consist-
ing of the children from St.
Marie School, St. Joseph and
Mr. Clare Masse who played
the guitar and accompanied his
daughter who sang. Those cel-
ebrating birthdays during the
month of February are Mrs.
Rebecca Clarke, Mrs. Margaret
Finkbeiner, Mrs, Jessie Pfaff,
Mrs. Lena Robinson, Mrs. Mary
Taylor, Mrs. Elizabeth Thomp-
spn, Rev. J.E. McCauley, Mr.
Eldon Ortwein and Mr. Ernest
Valiquette. Gifts were present-
ed to the celebrants and a del-
icious lunch served.

just returned from a few days in

ebrations for her Grandsons.
The Sunday evening chapel
service was conducted by Rev.
Clayton Kuepfer of Zurich Men-
nonite Church. Mrs. Irvin Martin
presided at the organ during the
worship service.
