Report on seven area accidents
On Sunday at 11 a, m. cars
driven by Eva Gordon, Alvin-
ston, and Julia Power, London,
collided on Highway No 21,
at sideroad 5 and 6 of Hay
Township. Damage was estim-
ated at $1, 300 by Constable
D.A. Mason,
On Monday, at 12.01 p.m.
cars driven by David Christie
and Carol Cooper R.R,2, Kip -
pen collided on Highway 4.
Mrs. Cooper and her daughter
Barbara received minor injur-
ies. Damage was estimated at
$1, 300 by Constable Don Mason.
On Tuesday, at 11:30 p.m.
a snowmobile driven by Tim-
othy Turnbull, R,R,1, Grand
Bend, rolled over on the
Ontario Water Resources Com-
mission property on Highway 21.
Mr. Turnbull received serious
injuries. Damage was estimated
at $1,5 00 by constable Bob
Whiteford.
On Wednesday, at 7:55 a. m,
a car driven by Alicia Struyke,
Dashwood, went out of control
on County Road No 2 and rolled
over in the ditch. Mrs. Struyke
and her daughter Maria received
minor injuries. Damage was
estimated at $100 by Constable
Don Mason.
On Thursday, at 6.15 p.m.
a car driven by Howard Atkins,
R.R.1, Zurich, collided with a
parked car at the Hensall Sales
Barn. Damage•was estirnated at
$400 by Constable Ed Wilcox.
On Friday at 5.15 p.m. a
car driven by Larry Clarke coll-
ided with a parked car on con-
cession 12 and 13 Hay township,
owned by Cheryl Smith, Detroit,
Michigan. Damage was estim-
ated at $500 by Constable Bill
Lewis,
On Saturday at 2.30 a.m. a
snowmobile driven by Wilfred
Overholt, Zurich, struck a
ditch on concession 5, Hay
Township. Mr. Overholt receiv-
ed minor injuries. Damage was
estimated at $5 00 by Constable
Bill Glassford.

Tests were held in Zurich on
Saturday. This is the first sanct-
ional test day the Zurich -Grand
Bend Club have had on their
own ice.

Blackwell, Lynda Shipley,

Mrs. Shirley Oesch, Mrs.
Betty Shipley and Mrs. Elaine
Ford were in charge for the day..
Mrs. Edith Bell is test chairman,
and took charge of the music
while Troyann Bell, Senior,
coach, partnered the dances.
