FIRE AT THE ZURICH ARENA - Quick action on Tuesday morning prevented what could have
been a disastrous fire in the Tuck Shop of the Zurich Arena. Volunteer firemen and other helpers
were quick to respond to the call and lost little time in extinguishing the blaze. Several of those
on hand to assist are shown here as they look into the smoking Tuck Shop.

TO SNOWMOBILERS
The Council of the Village of Zurich have received
numerous complaints from ratepayers regarding trespassing,
property abuse, and.un-necessary noise caused by snow-
mobiles.
This unfortunate situation must be stopped, and for this
reason the council is issuing this warning to all snowmobil-
ers that they must pot trespass, or cause excessive noise
especially late in the evening.
If the situation is not corrected, council will have no alt-
ernative but to pass a by-law prohibiting the use of snow-
mobiles within the Village limits. Your co-operation is
needed to prevent this from happening.
