and said the board should approva
the attendance of each trustee
and member of the administrat-
ive staff at any conference.
Trustee David Teahen of
Stratford stated he was in compl-
ete agreement with Mr. Looby's
statements.
Mr. Tokar and three trustees
will attend the Christian Curr-
iculum Development Conference
and Edward Rowland, mainten-
ance co-ordinator, will attend
for one day only, the Canadian
Education Showplace in Toronto
either on October 25, 26 or 27.
The Board authorized the
Business Administrator to write
to the Stratford City Council
asking them if they would be
interested in maintenance of the
board property located in the
Devon Park area in return for
free use of the property as a
playground area.
The Board will notify the
Stratford Planning Board that it
wishes to retain its 11.5 acre site
in the Mornington Street subdiv-
ision but would be open for dis-
cussion for relocating a portion
of that property.

Superintendent John Vintar
and board chairman, John
McCann, will attend the 100th
anniversary of the Sisters of
St. Joseph in Goderich. Trustee
Vincent Young of Goderich will
attend as well. The anniversary
celebration will be held Sunday,
November 4, beginning with a
dinner in the church hall at
12:30 p.m.
Mrs. Patricia Meidinger, sec-
retary of St. Boniface School,
Zurich wrote the board thanking
them for installing a portable
classroom at the school to over-
come the crowded conditions
and complimenting then; on the
quality of the teachers at the
school.
David Teahen, chairman of
the Personnel Committee, rep-
orted his committee had met
with the teachers' negotiating
committee on October 17 and
will meet with them again on
October 24. The 1973-74 sal-
ary schedule has not been set
as yet for the teachers.

work on the new addition at St.
Aloysius School, in Stratford is
supposed to be completed by
the end of the week. Presently
workmen are laying the new
floor in the gym and the lands-
caping will be completed Tues-
day. Painting and other odd
jobs are to be finished this week.
Mr. Shantz said that therein
a water problem at St. Aloysius
and suggested a drainage system
that might silve the problem,
estimated to cost between
$6, 825 and $7, 292.
Mr. Shantz was advised to
secure more information and to
investigate another route for
the drain.
Mr. Tokar reported that ass-
essment tapes will be available
to the Assessment Officer, Ed
Rowland, on request. A fee to
be eligible for this service costs
$25. As an example of the infor-
mation available from the
:apes, Mr. Tokar said that the
names of separate school supp-
orters could be obtained for last
year, to be compared to this
year's list of navies.
The meeting adjourned at
five minutes before midnight,
A special meeting will be call-
ed when Board will meet as a
committee of the whole. which
it did not do Monday because
of the lateness of the hour.

Communications, prepare and
record bulletins, which niay be
heard by dialing a telephone
number, The program is updated
three times a day, at 7:15 a.m
12:04 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Radio stations can received the
reports free of charge, for broad-
cast to their audiences.
