She has moved with her family to London, while Mr, and Mrs. Genttner and son have moved to Dashwood. Prior to Mrs. Dorothy Koehler is a patient in South Huron Hospital, Exeter. Rev. L, H. Kalbfleisch cond- ucted the service in St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Neustadt, on Sunday morning and in the afternoon, he offered the pray- er of dedication at the opening ceremonies of the new ware- house and office complex of the Home Hardware Stores Ltd., in St. Jacobs, Ontario. Several thousand people were in attend- ance. Mrs. Robert Westlake and Mrs. Morris Webb, of Zurich, were appointed members of the board of directors of the Huron Country Playhouse Guild Saturday, September 29, ar a meeting at Oakwood Inn, Grand Mrs. Guenther's moving the GNO bridge club and the neigh- bors presented her with gifts. Mrs. Alma Willert is a par- ies in South Huron Hospital, Exeter, having suffered a heart seizure, Mrs. Hilda Rader; Mrs. Ray Rader, Mrs. Eben Weigand, Mrs, Martha Miller, and Mrs. Bill Berends, members of Dash- wood Women's Institute attend- ed the fally rally for South Huron Institutes at Centralia College, Monday, October 1. Karen Miller, Zion, spent last Thursday with her .grand- mother, Mrs. Irvin Rader, while her parents attended the plough- ing match. Sunday_ visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Glen Rader, Heather and Allan were Mr. and Mrs. rvan Taylor, Kitchener, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Rader and Darlene; and Jim Lynn, Woodham. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Hutchin- son, Russel's Point, Ohio, spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Wolfe and visited with Mrs. Henry Eagleson who is a patient in South Huron hospital, Exeter. Cheese of every variety, text- ure, and flavour was discussed, as well as the traditions and foods of England, Scotland and Ireland. The girls then made "Welsh Rabbit" and apple dump- lings. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Weber spent a few days last week at Obituary CARL MCCLINCIIEY Carl McClinchey passed away ar his late residence in Clinton on Saturday, Septemb- er 29, in his 70th year. Surviving besides his wife, the former Pearl Pepper, are two daughters, Mrs. Howard (Bernys) Finkbeiner, of Zurich; Mrs. Murray (Virginia) Dalton, of Seafortlt; one son, Nelson, of Kitchener; four sisters, Mrs. Russell (Myrtle) Blackwell, of London; Mrs. Paul (Marie) Dausman, of Bristol,- indianna; Mrs. Jim (Emma) Cox, of Tor- onto; Mrs. Lloyd (Phyllis) But- ler, of Clinton; six brothers, Albert, Ottawa; Bill, London; lack and George, both of Clin- ton; Clifford, Camp Borden; and Elmer, of Benmiller. There are also 'nine grandchildren. 1115 first wife, the former Thelma Oswald, pre -deceased hint in 1945 The body rested at rhe Ball Funeral home, Clinton, where service was held on Tuesday, October 2, at 2 p.m. Burial was made in the Ennamuel United Church Cemetery, Bronson Line.
