Elaine Theresa Masse exchang-
ed marriage vows in St. Bon-
iface Roman Catholic Church
on Saturday, May 19, 1973 at
1:30 p.m. with Father Hayes,
officiating.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Clare Masse,
R. R.3, Zurich and the groom's
parents are Mr. and Mrs. Lionel
Beauchamp of Pembroke, Ont-
ario.
Given in marriage by her
father the bride was charming
in her floor -length gown of
white lagoda, styled with an
empire waistline that fell into
a train at the back. Guipure
lace and white satin ribbon
trimmed the high neckline and
the tight cuffs of the long full

Mrs. Marlene Bedard, of God•
erich, Brenda Masse and Janet
Masse, both of Zurich, and all
sisters of the bride were brides-
maids. They were dressed alike
in long gowns of yellow dotted
Swiss, styled with a V -neckline,
empire waists and A-line skirts
trimmed with a white bow at
the back. They carried bouquet!
of yellow mums and white
daisies. Lori Masse, sister of
the bride and Lisa Beauchamp,
sister of the groom were flower
girls.
Elden Beauchamp, Richard
Masse and Lennis Bedard. attend-
ed the groom and Gerard Masse
and Robert Beauchamp ushered
the guests.
Mrs. Patricia Meidinger prov-
ided the wedding music.

ion was held at the Dashwood
Community Centre.

London where the bride is empl-
oyed at London Life Insurance

Auxiliary event
well attended

The Ladies Auxiliary to the
Blue Water Rest Home Spring
Tea, Bazaar and Bake Sale,
May 26 was well attended with
executives from surrounding
areas. Special thanks to the
Zurich C. W, L., and all other
organizations and private citiz-
ens donating to this worthy
cause. Our next project being
sound equipment for the dining
room.
Mrs. Nancy Koehler, Zurich,
oldest member of the Auxiliary
was presented with a lovely cor-
sage for Mother's Day.

The Huronview Auxiliary were
hosts for the May Birthday Party
on Wednesday afternoon. The
president, Mrs. Colclough,
introduced the program which
was provided by members of
the various institutes. Mrs. Rad-
ford of Clinton played several
piano melodies during the after-
noon and accompanied Mary
Taylor, Norman Speir and Jerry
Collins for some instrumental
numbers. There was readings
by Mrs. Shirray and Mrs. Clair-
mont, a piano solo by Mrs.
Joyce Pepper and mouth organ
solos by Bob Turner and the
program finished up with a livel;
sing song. Following the singing
of "Happy Birthday" gifts were
presented to the twenty-three
celebrants after which everyone
enjoyed a social hour. Mr.
Henry Leishman thanked those
assisting with the party on be-
half of the residents. The resi-
dents were entertained on Fam-
ily Night with a program from
the Blyth area arranged by Jim
• Lawrie. Everyone enjoyed the
jokes by Mr. Lawrie in his role
as master of ceremonies as well
as several Scottish numbers
complete with kilts. A group of
young musicians from Blyth,
Anne Thalen, Steve Walsh,
Bill Burkholder and John Button
played a medley of popular
tunes with the Blyth Citizens
Band playing some old favourite;
There was step dancing by Karer.

bell, Dennis Knox, James Whar-
ton, Johnny,'Good and Nelson
Caldwell. yrs, Brown, pianist

eral vocal numbers. Mrs. Mary
Taylor, a lifetime resident of
Blyth and who will soon be cele-
brating her ninety-fifth birthday,
expressed the appreciation of
the residents for the program.
