APPEAR IN TALENT HOUR - Two Zurich youngsters, JoAnne McKinley and Shelly Horner, appear-
ed on the television program, Talent Hour, this past Sunday at CFPL-TV, in London. The girls
sang a couple of numbers for the viewing audience, They are the daughters of Mr. and Mrs. R.N.
McKinley, and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Horner, all of Zurich.

INTERESTING HAPPENINGS IN ONTARIO'S P ETT FST VILLAGE
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Moore,
have returned to their home in
the village after spending the
winter months in Florida.
Mr. Norman F. Cooper, Mt.
Clemens, Michigan, was at his
village residence on the week-
end.
Mr. and Mrs. Tom Handy,
Seaforth, visited Friday with
her daughter and family, Mrs.
Margaret Garrett, Norma, Diane
and john.
Rev. and Mrs. Hugh Crosby,
Mooretown, are spending a few
days this week in the village.
Mr. and Mrs. Toni Arkell
were weekend guests of his par-
ents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Arkell,
enxoute home to Northwood,
Middlesex, England. Prior to
their arrival in the village,
they had been in Los Angeles,
Cal., Austin Texas, and also
visited their son Ken, who is
attending College in Liberty,
Missouri.
Mr. and Mrs. John McLeod,
Port Stanley, spent the week-
end with his mother and sister,
Mrs. L,H.D McLeod and Dor-
othy.
Mr. and Mrs. Brian King,
Matt and Tim, London were
with her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Robert Turner for the weekend.
Mrs. J.M. Atkinson has return'
ed to her home after spending
the past four months with
her daughter and family, Mr,
and Mrs. Gerald Pence, Steven,
and Robert, in Rochester, Mich-
igan.
Mr. and Mrs. Francis Kipper,
Zurich, were Sunday visiters
with his aunt, Mrs. Percy West-
on,
Mr. and Mrs. Bob Cluff, Rob
and Tara, London, Mrs. Fletch-
er McLaughlin and Jackie Moss
of Toronto were weekend visitors
with Mr. and Mrs. Fred LeBeau .
Little Tara Cluff remained for
a few days with her grandparents,
Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Haw
accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Don
Haw, Cathy and Bradley to Or-
angeville on Sunday where
they visited Mr. and Mrs. Doug
Deller, Kerry and Scott.
Oral French Speaking Contests
for Huron County were held on
Friday, April 27 in the Library
of South Huron High School,
Exeter.

On Sunday at 4.05 p.m.
cars driven by Angela Sweitzer,
Exeter and Harold Schummer,
Bridgeport, collided on Highway
83, west of Exeter. Total dam-
age was estimated at $350 by
Constable Frank Giffin.
On Monday at 12.05 p, m,
a car driven by Ralph Light-
foot, Centralia, struck a five
year old pedestrian on Huron
County Road No 21, at Huron
Park. The pedestrian Michelle
Ambury, of Huron Park, ran on
to the road into the path of the
eastbound car. The car was not
damaged. The pedestrian was
treated at South Huron Hospital
in Exeter for cuts and bruises
and released. The investigating

On Wednesday at 8 p.m. cars
driven by Audrey Scott, Exeter,
and Leonard O'Rourke, R.R.4,
Seaforth collided on Concession
4-5 Usborne Township. Total
damage was estimated at $175.
by Constable Robert Whiteford.
On Thursday at 8.20 p.m.
a car driven by Terry O'Neill,
R.R.4, Parkhill skidded out of
control on Stephen Township,
and struck a hydro pole. A
