Kinsman; auditors, Mrs. Charles Eyre, Mrs. Stewart Pepper. Reports indicated that the programs had been varied, educational and humorous. Members answered the roll call, "A Farm Safety Hint" stating people should use com- mon sense, don't be in a hurry, wear ear protectors, use safety shields, no smoking around barns. The donation to the Society for the Mentally Retard- ed will be added to the District funds and the programs for the coming year will be in booklet form along with the other branches in the district. Tickets were sold on three cakes, the proceeds to go to Bunny Bundle. Cake winners were Mrs. J. Sinclair, Mrs. Vern Alderdice, Mrs. Cecil Pullman. Delegates to the District Annual will be Mrs. M. Connolly, Mrs. R. Bell, and Mrs. R. Kinsman. Slides of last year's W.I. events were shown by Mrs. V. Alder - dice. A donation was made to Pen- nies for Friendship. There was a sale of plants, bulbs and seeds. Mrs. R. Kinsman contributed several piano selections. Mrs. E. Whitehouse was hostess, Mrs.. R. Bell, co -hostess. Mrs. Cecil Pullman and her committee served lunch. Mrs. Robert Bell gave the report of the District Board meet. ing. The meeting was chaired by Mrs. Connolly. The District Annual is May 16, in Caven Presbyterian Church, Exeter. Members are asked to bring cake recipes to the May meet - in¢. 4-H CLUB The eighth meeting of Kippen II "Super Sports Stars" was held April 12 at the home of Mrs. Grant McGregor. The meeting opened with the 4-H Pledge; the minutes of the last meeting. Jill McLellan was chosen Secret- ary. Books are to be into Mrs. McGregor by May 5. Work was done on the fashion show and exhibit. Next meeting will be April 16, at McGregors. Mrs. Irene Blackwell presiding and being assisted by V , G. Mrs. Aldeen Volland. The special guest, D. D.P. Mrs. Margaret Sharp was presented by P.N.G. Mrs. Maggie Campbell and wel- comed in the usual manner as well as one other visitor from Seafortu Mrs. Annie Malcolm. The V .G. reported having sent a sympathy card and a number of get well cards. Final plans were made to have a bootl at the house sale of Mrs. Mc - Beath last Saturday, which was reported to have been a success. The semi-annual financial, report was given by the treasur- er, Mrs. Dorothy Corbett. Hap- py birthday was sung to two of the members. The D. D. P., Mrs. Sharp, chose as her topic, "Love, " and also read a short poem. The district meeting, which was held last Wednesday afternoon in Seaforth, was reported on by Mrs. Maggie Campbell, and Mrs. Mary Gregg, of Clinton was nominated as D.D.P. for the coming terra of 1973-74. About 12 members of the Lodge plan to go by bus to Atwood on April 27 to attend the Lodge's 25th birthday party there, Aft- er the meeting a social hour was enjoyed in the lower hall with the committee in charge, serv- ing lunch. 0 Charles Mickle, Hamilton, and Mrs. and Mrs. Brian Collins, Kitchener, spent the weekend with their mother Mrs. Laird Mickle. EASTER SERVICE A goodly crowd was present for the Easter Service of Wor- ship in Hensall United Church Sunday morning. The choir un- der the leadership of Mrs. Turkheim sang two anthems, and Rev.
