Paul Rader, Eugene Becker,
and Lorne Miller vacationed at
Willowdale with Mr. and Mrs.
John deNiet and attended the
C.N. E.; The Science Center,
and Ontario Place. From there
they visited Niagara Falls and
motored along the south shore
of Lake Erie to Detroit, visiting
places of interest.
Mr. and Mrs. Emil Becker
accompanied by Mr. and Mrs.
Clarence Kimpel, of Kitchener,
spent Sunday at Fort Erie.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Scott
of St. Thomas and Mrs. Bertha
Johnston and son, Laurie, of
Glanworth, visited Mr. and Mrs.
Harold Penhale on Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. William Scotch -
mer spent.. a couple of weeks at
Port Loring.
A number of people attended
the Hayter -Ford wedding at
Exeter Saturday and the recept-
ion in Dashwood Community
Centre.
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Miller
and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Stumpf,
of Kitchener, visited with
friends at Frankenmuth, Mich.,
and with Rev. and Mrs. Ernest
Miller, Gladwin, Mich last
week.
Mrs. Louis Restemayer and
Mrs. Leonard Restemayer,
patients at South Huron Hospital
are improving in health; Mrs.
Glen Rader is a patient in St.
Joseph's Hospital, London
where she underwent surgery;
Mrs. Glen Webb is also a pat-
ient there.
Scott Boyle has returned home
after spending the summer
months with the junior Forest
Rangers at Sioux Lookout,
which he enjoyed very much ,
He toured the pulp and paper
mill at Dryden as part of the
training program. Fishing at
Pickle Lake was a real treat
as they were flown in by air-
plane.
Mr. and Mrs. Leeland Reste-
mayer held a surprise birthday
party for Mrs. Aaron Restemay-
er on Saturday evening. Present
besides her husband were Fred
Weiberg, Mr. and Mrs. Garnet
Willert, Mr. and Mrs. Adolph
Keller; Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd
Rader, and Mr. and Mrs. Percy
Willert, Zurich.
Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Rader
camped at Wasaga Beach last
week. They were joined by
Darlene Rader and Jim Lynn for
a few days.
Mrs. Cora Gaiser spent the
weekend at Kitchener with Rev.
and Mrs. Bruce Seebach and
family.

Mr, and Mrs. Jack Moffat

were Sunday visitors with Mr.

Dashwood Women's Institute
starts the new season Tuesday,
September 5 when the Educat-
ion and Cultural Activities group
will be in charge. The 4-H
leaders Mrs. Gordon Bender,
Mrs. Ray Rader, Mrs. Earl
Keller, and Mrs. Lloyd Beaver
attended the training school in
Exeter this week for the new
project, "The Third Meal."
Any girl who is twelve by Sept-
ember 1 may join.
Visitors during the weekend
with Mr. and Mrs. Ross Love
were Mr. and Mrs. Ron Love
and Kristi, Toronto; Mr. and
Mrs. Clare Love, Leanne and
Robbie, Sarnia; and Mr. and
Mrs. Lloyd Love, Parkhill.
