Golden Glimpses ....
Although it seems like yest-
erday that we mentioned that
there would not be a column for
a couple of weeks, that time
has hurriedly passed and many
people's vacations are behind
them, and we hope the poor
weather as well.
During the past two weeks,
we have had several programs.
Bryan and Ronnie Denys
entertained the residents one
evening with a variety of vocal
numbers to the accompliment
of their guitars. Also on the
program was Raymond Mathon-
ia who favoured with several
selections on his accordian.
Following the program, ref-
reshments were served.
Last Friday the residents were
entertained by "Folks, " memb-
ers of the opportunity for
Youth Group for Huron County.
The entertainment consisted of
skits and singing to the accomp
animent of their guitars. On
Sunday afternoon we were
pleased to have the young
people from the Conservative
Mennonite Church present a
musical program.
The regular monthly birthday
party for the month of August
was sponsored by the Ladies of
the Zurich Mennonite Church.
A musical program was pres-
ented followed by a delicious
lunch and social half hour.
The best protective equipment
you can ever own is already
yours—one pair of eyes. Just
knowing what's going on around
you helps you avoid job accidents.
So it makes good sense to look
after your eyes, with
protective glasses if
0
the job calls for them, and regular
check-ups if your eyesight's
below par. Take care of your
eyes, and they'll see you safely
through the working day.
