the girls in Zurich, a girl's hockey team. Shown here are three

Stinging Defeat

On Monday night the Zurich
Bantams travelled to Mitchell
and came home with a 10-2 vict-
ory.
Pat Bedard opened the scoring
for Zurich at the 40 second mark
of the first period. Harry Smits
and Gerald Weido rallied for two
more goals before Mitchell's
Larry Torrance scored their first,
to end the period 3-1.
The only goal of the second
period cavae at the 3:10 mark
when Bill Webster scored for
Zurich to push them into a 4-1
lead.
Zurich took over the game in
the last period as they outscored
their opponents, 6-1. Pat Bedard
Gerald Weido and Mark Gelinas
rallied for three goals before
Doug Dietz of Mitchell scored
their last goal. Ken Regier added
an extra marker with Gerald
Weido scoring his third goal, to
give them a 9-2 lead.
The final goal came when
Barry Hess stole the puck at
the Mitchell blue line and went
in himself to score.
