YOUTH TESTAMENT DISTRIBUTION - by the South Huron Camp of Gideons started this year
at Huron Centennial School when 82 Testaments were given to Grade V students. The Gideons. who
made the presentations were R. Schell, Bayfield, Ross Faber, Rev. and Mrs. D. L. Paterson, Seaforth
and Jack Thompson, Seaforth, Principal Arnold Mathers is second from the right and three pupils
who received books were Paul Talbot, Kevin Faber and Valerie Patterson.

Galt show
draws 16
Waterloo's Holstein breeders
produced 104 head, from 16 exhibi-
tors, to make their annual Black
and White day a successful event.
Keen competition added to the
interest.
The show was at Galt Fair last
month.
The entries of John H. Gillespie,
Galt, carried off both grand and
reserve championships for fe-
males, and he also won the pre-
mier breeder and exhibitor
awards. The competition for the
latter two honors was extremely
close with Gillespie having 83
points against 81 for the runner-
up, W. J. Knapp, Galt, for premier
breeder; while Gillespie had 113

the senior bull calves, while R.E.

Fame. Only two bull classes were
shown, with Greenwood Rag Ap-
ple Kerry, jointly owned by W.J.
Knapp, Galt and Harold Blaylock,
Vassar, Michigan, heading the
yearling bulls.
