Dianne Elizabeth Cleave and
Richard Francis Jeffrey exchanged
marriage vows in St. Peter's
Roman Catholic Church, St.
Tospeh, on Saturday, August 15,
1970, with Monsignor Bourdeau
officiating for the double ring
ceremony. Pink and white glad-
ioli and mauve mums decorated
the altar of the church.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr, and Mrs. Logan Cleave,
Bayfield and the groom is the
son of Mrs. Monica Jeffrey and
the late Richard Jeffrey, R, R, 2,
Zurich,
Given in marriage by her father
4#the bride was charming in her
r�, �`• floor length gown of white lagoda
satin styled with an empire waist-
line, stand-up collar and long
tapered sleeves featuring a daisy
chain trite. The back extended
into a short chapel train. A flow-
ing chapel veil also featuring
daisy trim was gathered into a
Juliet cap head -piece and she
carried a cascade of pink roses
and ivy.
Mrs. Shirley O'Brien, sister of
the bride, was matron of honor
and she wore a mauve chiffon
over taffeta dress with back flow-
ing panel, an empire waistline,
short sleeves featuring daisy trim
and carried a basket of white and
mauve shasta daisiei.
Mrs, Sharon Brokenshire, sister
of the bride and Miss Marilyn
Jeffrey, sister of the groom were
bridesmaids, and they were dres-
sed identical to the matron of
honor, but in pink and they car-
ried baskets of white and pink
shasta daisies . They all wore
white picture hats trimmed with
the same material as their dresses,
Michael Jeffrey, brother of the
groom was groomsman and Jack
Cleave, brother of the bride and
Richard Fisher ushered guests,
Soloist was Mr. W. Cook, of
Clinton and was accampanied by
the church organist Mrs. Henry
Rau.
A wedding reception was held
in the Zurich Community Centre.
For receiving the guests, the
bride's mother chose a turquoise
lace and linen dress with white
accessories and a corsage of pink
roses. The groom's mother wore
a two-piece yellow lace dress
with yellow accessories and a
corsage of yellow and coral roses.
For travelling the bride changed
to a pink ensemble with white
lace coat, white accessories and
a corsage of deep pink carnations.
The young couple will reside
in London where the groom is em-
ployed with London T V. Cable.

St. Peter's Roman Catholic
church was the setting for the,
marriage of Sarah Ducharme and
Raymond Teffrey. Monsignor
Bourdeau officiated at the double -
ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Napoleon Duch-
arme, of London, and the groom
is the son of Mr. and Mrs, Dorn-
nic Teffrey, of St. Toseph,
Given in marriage by her fath-
er the bride chose a floor -length
gown of peau de sole featuring
an A-line skirt and empire waist
line. Swiss lace accenturated the
aodice, skirt and trimmed the
Miss Debbie Jeffrey, niece of
the groom was flower girl. All
were gowned alike in yellow floor-
length A-line dresses of yellow
polyester with empire waist lines
and Victorian sleeves to match
the bride. A matching roset held
their chapel veils. They carried
white and yellow daisies.
The best man was Charles Jef-
frey, brother of the groom. St.
Joseph. Groomsmen were Richard
Ducharme, of Sudbury and John
Jeffrey, St. Joseph. Ringbearer
was Dennis Jeffrey, brother of the
groom. Guests were ushered by
Raymond Ducharme and Peter

Ferns and candelabra decorated
the altar of St. Andrews United
Church, Kippen, for the wedding
of Wendy Christine .Tones, daught-
er of Mr. and Mrs, Wilmer Tones,
Hensall, and David Leslie My -
croft, London, son of the late
Mr, and Mrs, Walter Mycroft.
Miss loan Sinclair, London,
soloist, was accompanied by Paul
Kennedy, of London, brother-in-
law of the groom,
The bride, given in marriage
by her father, wore a full length
gown of white sculptured satin.
The bodice was fashioned of Bel-
gium lace with portrait neckline
and long full sleeves buttoned at
the wrist, A detachable cathedral
train cascaded from the centre
back of the empire waistline. A
shoulder length four tiered silk
illusion veil was held by a head-
piece of pearls and flowers. The
bride's bouquet was a cascade of
white roses, stephanotis and trail-
ing ivy. Gwynneth Jones, Toronto
sister of the bride, was maid of
honor and the bridesmaids were
Ruth Brown, Clinton and Mrs.
Douglas Wilkins, of Chatham..
They wore identical floor length
gowns, similar to the brides, of
sapphire blue sculptured satin and
yellow and white mutes in their
hair, They carried wicker gather-
ing baskets of yellow and white
baby mums and trailing ivy.
The flower girl, Sheila Tones,
niece of the bride, wore a floor -
length gown of sculptured satin,
She carried a smaller basket sim-
ilar to the bridesmaids. Ringbear-
er was David Jones, the bride's
nephew.
George Mycroft, London, was
his brothers groomsman, Gary
loves, Lucan, brother of the bride
and David Buchanan, Bryanston,
ushered guests. The wedding din-
ner was held in the church parlors,
Later in the evening a reception
was held in the Exeter Legion Hall,
For travelling the bride chose
a scalloped powder blue gown with
bone accessories. She wore a pink
orchid corsage,
The couple will live in Mississ-
auga where the groom is employed
with Eastern Geophysics.

Friends and neighbours of S, S.
14, Stanley held a shower at the
home of Mrs. Thomas Penhale.
Co -hostesses were Mrs. Alex
Townsend, Mrs. Peter De Wys,
and Mrs. Egbert Faber, Another
shower was held at Kippen United
Church. Mrs. Douglas Wilkins,
Chatham, held a dessert shower
at the home of her mother, Mrs,
Einer Palmer, London. The Mort-
gage Department of London Life
held a shower in the bride's honor
in the staff lounge at the London
Life.

of the bride, was the maid of
honor wearing a mauve Italian
media satin collarless A-line,
sleeveless floor -length dress with
princess seaming, She wore mat-
ching mauve flowers in her hair
and carried a flat basket of yel-
low roses and white mums,
Terry Ann Skinn, niece of the
bride, was the flower girl. She
was dressed in a floor -length dress
of mauve Italian media satin with
skirt gathered at sides to high -line
bodice and short set-in sleeves.
She wore a matching velvet bow
in her hair and carried a scooped
basket of yellow roses and white
mums.
Bradley Ferguson, nephew of
the bride, was the ringbearer.
Tames Partridge, Milverton,
brother of the groom was the
groomsman and the guests were
ushered by Tohn B. Skinn, Kitch-
ener, brother of the bride, and
Lee Partridge, Milverton, brother
of the groom.
Mrs. Alice Stiles, Seaforth,
was the organist and accompanied
the soloist, Mrs. Howard Lawrence
Meaford, cousin of the bride,
when she sang "Ave Maria, " "Pa-
