Misses Amey and Greta Laramie attended the Hunter reunion at Centralia last Sunday. Mrs. Maude Hedden, who has been a patient in South Huron Hospital, Exeter, has returned home. Mr. and Mrs, Laird Mickle spent a few days recently in Ham- ilton visiting their son, Charles. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Troyer and Mr, and Mrs. Glenn Bell left this week on a motor trip to the western provinces. Mr. and Mrs. William Simpson of Birmingham, Michigan, visited over the weekend with the formers mother, Mrs Louise Simpson, who is a patient in South Huron Hosp- ital, Exeter. John Chappel, and Howard Smale are spending a month's vacation with relatives and friends in the western provinces. Sympathy of the community is extended to Mrs. Grant Bisback in the sudden passing of her moth- er, Mrs. Elmer Shade, of Egmond- ville. PASS COURSE Hiellce Berende, Andy Brecke, Bev Lindenfield, John Snell, Gerald Moir, Mrs. Ann Klungel, Wes Lenting, Mrs. Ann Lenting, Klaas Van Wieren, Mrs. Rita Van- Wieren, Miss Irene Van Wieren, Miss Pat Van Wieren, Miss Gail Travers, Mozart Gelinas, Ken- ieth Westlake, Norm Mattson, Paul Tredhomme, Joe Ducharme and Max Learn, were successful in passing the test of the St. John Ambulance First Aid Course, held at Boise Cascade in Hensall, Jack Shearman of Huron Park was the instructor. 0 Wedding McNAUGHTON - WRIGHT Carolyn Dawn Wright, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur John Wri3ht, Seaforth, exchanged wending vows with Robert Alfred McNaughton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter McNaughton, Hensall, in Northside United Church on June 20th at 4 p. m. with Rev. J. C. Britton officiating. The church was decorated with floral baskets of yellow and white shasta daisies. The bride, given in marriage by her father, chose a floor-lengtl: gown of ivory puffed floral bro- cade with fitted Empire effect, Peter Pan collar enhanced with French hand sewn lace and full wrist length sleeves with French cuffs. The peacock draped skirt extended into a short chapel train with large bow at waistline. Her Cathedral length veil was held in place with Lily of the Valley lace flowers and butterflies. She car- ried a Victorian bouquet of red roses. Themaid of honor was Faye Munro, Seaforth and the brides- maids were Sheryl Muir, Seaforth and Judy Hawkins of Clarkson. They were gowned in floor -length pant dresses of printed magic ° crepe in yellow tones accented by moss green velvet trailing to the hemline. Their headpieces were matching yellow roses and they carried baskets of yellow and white daisies. Daniel Lanaghan, Etobicoke, was the groomsman and the guests were ushered by Blaine Wright, Seaforth, brother of the bride, Russell Talbot of Kippen, and John Wright, Seaforth, brother of the bride. Mrs. James Stewart, organist, played traditional wedding music andaccompaniedthe soloist, Mrs. Cleave Coombs when she sang "My World" and "The Wed- ding Prayer."
