During the week of June 7 to
13, the xeter detachment of the
Ontario Provincial Police invest-
igated a total of eight traffic ac-
cidents, in which only one per-
son was injured.
In the same week, they laid
23 charges under the Highway
Traffic Act; three under the Crim-
inal Code of Canada and four
under the Liquor Control Act.
Twenty-four warnings were hand-
ed out under the Highway Traffic
Act.
The accidents were as follows:
On Sunday June 7, at 4 p.m.
Provincial Constable F. L, Gif-
fin investigated a one vehicle
collision involving a vehicle
owned by Robert Levallee, of
Kitchener, and a dog owned by
Peter Berendsen, of Kirkton.
Damage estimated at $200. No
injuries. The dog was killed
On Sunday June 7, at 1;30 a, in
Provincial Constable D. A, Mas-
on investigated a one vehicle
collision involving a vehicle
driven by James Joseph Foster,
of Exeter. Damage estimated at
$120. No injuries. Vehicle went
out of control and struck a Dep-
artment of Highways sign.

of Exeter, and a vehicle driven
by Mabel Hill, of London. Dam-
age estimated at $160. No in-
juries.
On Wednesday, June 10, Prov-
incial Constable E. C, Wilcox
investigated a one car collision
that occurred at 11,10 a, nt on
No 21 Huron County Road, in-
volved was a vehicle driven by
John Edward Owens, of Woodland
trailer park, Ravenwood. Dam-
age estimated at $800, John
Owens received a bruised chest.
On Wednesday, June 10, Prov-
incial Constable W. G. Gassford
investigated a one car collision
that occurred at 9.30 p.m.
on County Road 5, west of
Ilighway 4. Involved in this
collision was a vehicle driven
by John,Edward Owens, of Wood-
land Trailer Camp, Ravens-
wood. Damage estimated at
$350. No injuries.
On Friday, June 12, Provincial
Constable D.A. Mason invest-
igated a two vehicle collision
that occurred at 4.15 p.m. on
Highway 81, east of Grand Bend,
involving a vehicle driven by
Jack Greenlee Eagleson, R. R. 8,
Parkhill, and a vehicle driven
by Jack Douglas Hamilton, R. R.
3, Ailsa Craig. Damage estim-
ated at $350. No injuries.
On Friday, June 12, Provincial
Constable D.A. Mason invest-
igated a vehicle and pedestrian
collision that occurred at 8.45
p. m. on Huron County Road
No. 5, at the Junction of the
18-19 Concession of Stephen
Township. Involved in the col-
lision was a vehicle driven by
Dennis Woodrow Yeadon, Lond-
on, and a pedestrian, Allan
Roy Cunningham, R. R. 2, Luc:
an, who received bruises to his
legs. Damage to the car was
estimated at $10,
On Saturday,June 13, Prov-
incial Constabe W, G . Glassford
investigated a two vehicle col-
lision that occurred at 4.00 a.m.
on Highway No. 84, involving
a vehicle driven by John Peter
Groot, of R,R.1, Zurich, and a
vehicle driven by Michael Erick-
son, R.R.2, Dashwood. Damage
estimated at $450. No injuries.

The marriage of Mark Bender,
Sweden, son of Mrs. Elda and
the late Elton Bender of Kitchen-
er and Elsa Dahlgren, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Eric Dahlgren,
Harnosand, Sweden, was solemn-
ized on Saturday, June 6, 1970,
at Harnosand.
The couple plans to tour
through Holland, England, Scot-
land, and other European countr-
ies, then to return to Uppsala,
Sweden, where they plan to re-
side.
