At the same time Raymond will be drawing up a building by-law to control the type of building in.the township. At the moment selling of port- ions of property in the township is governed by a holding bylaw whereby anyone wishing to sell parts of a property or splitting lots must appear before council with an application. The tender of Lee Jennison for the supply and delivery of 35°/o liquid calcium chloride was accepted for 100 flaked equiv- alent tons at $52,60 per ton. Jennison's bid was one of three received. Road Superintendent Bill Routly was authorized to advertize a tender call for the supply and delivery of road building mater- ials for reconstruction work on Concession road 2 and 3. Routly was also asked to call tenders for a new tractor and mower subject to approval of the Ontario Department of High- ways. Floyd Cooper was appointed as an additional warble fly in- spector. The competition is open to all young men and women between the ages of 12 and 30 years in- clusive, with a break -down into classes of Novice, Junior, Inter- mediate and Senior. The mem- bers will be judging nine classes altogether. • Three classes of beef cattle and swine will be judged, along with two classes of dairy cattle and one class of sheep. One of the beef classes will be beef cuts and one of the swine classes will be hog carcasses. All 4-11 Club members in the county should try and attend if at all possible as this event should be quite challenging and rewarding. Also, other young people are very welcome to part- icipate. Registration begins at 8:45 a. in. D.S. T, at the Seaforth Commun- ity Centre.
