municipalities. At the suggestion
of Mr. Nicklom, the holing
by-law was passed -as a tempor-
ary measure until a more defin-
ite system of planning can be in-
stituted.
At the same meeting, council
decided to engage the London-
based firm to prepare an official
plan of the village, outlining all
proposals for future development,
and designating where future
streets might be situated in the
village. Mr. Nicklom advised
council that the official plan
might take seven to eight months
to prepare, since there is a great
deal of work involved. The cost
is estimated at approximately
$4, 000., which is to be paidto
