Dominions
The Zurich Dominions, after
another week of action in the
OHA Junior D ranks, remain in
second place in the western
grouping, just a couple of points
ahead of challengers Belmont
and Lucan. Last Wednesday
night in Lambeth the Dominions
posted an easy 8-3 victory over
the Flyers, but back on their
home ice Sunday afternoon they
were victims of a hustling Lucan
Irish crew, and carne out on
the short end of a 7-4 score.
This Friday night the locals
play in Exeter, and then on
Sunday afternoon they play one
of their most important games
of the season here, when they
entertain the sante Exeter Hawks.
The Dominions must win at
least one of the two games with
Exeter to remain in second pos-
ition in the league, and fans
can be sure they will be giving
their best to break the home -ice
jinx on Sunday afternoon. To
date the local club have lost
only six games, but four of them
were home games. Next Wed-
nesday night they travel to
Lucan to battle the Irish in an-
other crucial game, which could
easily decide second place in the
six -team grouping.
ZURICH 8 - LAMBETH 3
Sparked by Stu Mustard with
three big goals, the Dominions
had little trouble with the Lam-
beth crew after a slow start in
the first period, which saw the
homesters take an early 2-1
