Jack and Sylvia Ilenclerson, who
are vacationing in England, and
while walking down a street in
London, England, had a pleasant
surprise when they ran into Miss
Nancy Kyle who is also on vac-
ation in Europe.

Howie Wright, who is on the

sall motors sales.
Mrs. Clarence Reid was the
lucky winner at the Clinton
Hospital Penny Sale draw held at
Clinton Saturday the 27. She wor
a nine pound haat.
Mrs. Alice Campbell of Exeter,
who recently celebrated her 110th
birthday, is visiting with her son
-and daughter-in-law Mr. and
M4s. Earl Campbell.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Reid, Regina,
Sask. visited with the latter's
sister Airs. Alma lless, over the
long weekend.

Funeral service for Elizabeth
(McCallum) McNichol, widow
of the late James McNichol, who
passed away in Seaforth Common
ity hospital, Sunday, in her 80th
year, was held Tuesday, Sept-
ember 2S, at the R.S. Box fun-
eral home, Scaforth, with burial
in Brussels cemetery. Ross Mc-
Nichol of Ilensall is a son.

Ilensall United Church at which
Lois Elaine Simmons, slaughter
of Mr. and Mrs: John F. Sim-
mons, Hensall, became the
bride of George Albert Godbolt,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald
Godbolt, Exeter.
White gladioli and white mums
amid candelabra set the scene.
Glen Cooper, Toronto, was
organist and Ted Wilson, Exeter,
was soloist. On the arm of her
father, the bride wore a floor
length bridal ensemble of lagoda.
The sleeveless dress was fashion -
of Chisellturst United Church
Women. Mrs. Russell Brock
presented the Worship Service
"The Church in This Day". The
Bible study was given by Mrs.
llarold Currie.
Mrs. Clarence Coleman offered
the missionary Prayer. A trio
composed of Mrs. Thomas Brint-
nell, Airs. Richard Taylor and
Alas. Jack Brintnell sang. "The
Old Church Gals".
The date for the.aunual bazaar
was set for Wednesday, October
29.

bride, Hensall. Junior brides-
maid was Miss Carolynne Dale
Simmons, sister of the bride,
Ilensall.
The senior attendants wore
raspberry red Juliet gowns. The
junior bridesmaid wore a white
satin crepe gown with a rasp-
berry sash and pink and white
carnations. All carried cas-
cades of red roses and pink and
white carnations.
John Godbolt, Exeter was best
man. Wayne Ratz, Sarnia, and -
Wayne Snyder, Kitchener, usher-
ed guests.
The reception was held in Hen-
sall Community Centre.
The young couple will live in
Forest where the groom, a grad-
uate of UWO is presently on
staff at North Lambton Secorid-
ary School.
