Gingerichs Win 13th Rec Game Gingerichs Sales and Service ended their Zurich Rec League softball schedule with their thirteenth win in fifteen starts as they defeated last -place Bluewater by a 28-9 score and wo the Rec League pennant. Surprisingly enough, the game was very close until the sixth inning, and the Bluewater Boys were leading their first -place opponents 7-5 at the end of the fifth. However, Gingerichs came to life in the last three frames, scoring ten runs in the sixth, five in the seventh, and eight in the eighth to earn the victory. Glen Gascho was the leading batter for the winners with six singles and a double. Winning Ditcher Clifford Gingerich added live hits, Lloyd Lostell, four, BRAVES DEFEAT DODGERS The Braves defeated the Dodgers in Zurich Minor Athletic Association sott ball play on Monday, August 14 by the score of 2'1-11. Two Braves notched four runs each. They were Wayne Oke and Leo Debt's. Two of Leo's runs were home runs. David Cyr and Joe Kenda scored three times for the winners and the other runs were divided between Doug Eckel and Rick Bedard with a pair each.
